Target Audience: Startups and new innovations

Session Description: This session features a series of presentations that will guide startups and new digital health innovations through several key areas of going from idea stage to go-to-market. 


It will include both an overview of the steps involved, stages of development, as well as specific areas of the process to bring a product to market. 


Startups or new innovation initiatives will have an understanding of key considerations in the product development and commercialization process and resources they could utilize for their products/services.

Andy is co-founder of Advancing Ventures, a services platform applying structured processes and aggregating a comprehensive suite of services to make health tech product development more efficient, de-risked, and cost effective to achieve commercialization.  He is also Chief Product Officer for health tech companies, having worked across large corporate environments, growth stage entities, and as a startup founder, as well as Chief Strategy Officer of Helpful, a global engineering innovation community.  Andy holds an MSE in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Nicole Althaus is a seasoned product and marketing leader and founder of ALTHAUS, LLC, a healthcare product and go-to-market advisory.  She has built and scaled digital health and medical device solutions across Fortune 5 enterprises, mid-market organizations, and early-stage startups, working at the intersection of product strategy, UX, marketing, and commercialization.  Nicole has led product, experience, and GTM strategy across payers, providers, employers, and regulated healthcare markets, helping teams translate complex clinical, regulatory, and operational realities into differentiated, market-ready products that buyers can understand, adopt, and scale. She also serves as a U.S. Ambassador for Global Health Connector, contributing to global collaboration across the digital health ecosystem.
